The HEDIA RIB is a happy coming-together of the inflatable hull’s inherent stability and the aluminum hull’s hydrodynamic efficiency. At rest, the tubes running around the perimeter give superb stability and safety, even in quite small variants. The air-filled tubes have a remarkable amount of buoyancy and even if the boat is swamped it remains afloat and sheds the water through its self-bailing hull’s scuppers.

First and foremost it has an aluminium hull rather than a GRP one. As well as being usefully lighter than most of its 3-5m competitors, this also means it’s robust and easy to repair. Then there’s its unusually deep-vee hull design, boasting a knife-like 24° deadrise at the transom for cutting through the waves.
